A "Regular Kid" Fighting AIDS Discrimination

Thirty years ago American teenager Ryan White died from complications related to AIDS, which he had contracted during treatment for his hemophilia. The stigmatization that White faced, and his family's subsequent fight against the mistreatment, had made him a spokesman for the fair treatment of HIV/AIDS sufferers and served to educate the American public about the disease.
